Declutter or Organise

Is there a difference between decluttering and organising?

Decluttering – ‘remove unnecessary items from (an untidy or overcrowded place)’ – Oxford Dictionary

Organise – ‘arrange systematically; order’ – Oxford Dictionary

If you are living in a chaos, your first step would be to declutter. Remove all unnecessary items from your home, cupboard, drawer, car or garage. Once the clutter is removed you can start organising your home the way you like it. Setting a beautiful vase on the dining room table, placing a couple of cushions on the sofa or even arranging the books by author, size or colour in your bookshelf.

Hint: Declutter first otherwise your new set up won’t work for long
